High Heat Danger

The heat that gathers indise your car is more
than just an inconvenience, it is deadly! Every years dozens of
children suffer from heat exhaustion and some even die by being left in
the car unattended. Your pets are just as likely if not more likely to
be affected by the heat of the summer sun.
Here are some tips to keep your family member safe this Summer. If
you have small children, it is less likely for them to verbalize the
heat stress they are enduring and they are this is when it is most
dangerous. In you car, you infant and small child is relegated to
safty and booster seats. The heat between their back and the chair
forms a pocket of hot air, litterally cooking them. The three point
harness holds them in place, thus giving them no release from the heat
collecting behind them.
Before heading out, consider bring an ice pack wrapped in a towel to
place behind them in the car seat. This smal gesture bring tons of
relief to a child that can't speak for themselves.
